Gonzales carries more history per block than just about any town in this part of Texas, and it shows in the housing stock. Between the Victorian homes near the courthouse and the ranch land spreading out along the Guadalupe and San Marcos rivers, we work on both ends of the spectrum here.

On older homes, remodeling means respecting what is already there — keeping proportions, trim profiles, and porch details right while quietly bringing wiring, plumbing, insulation, and kitchens into this century. On the ranch side, it is new construction and barndominiums with metal exteriors, tall ceilings, and shop space for equipment.

The rolling terrain and river-bottom soils out here make site prep and drainage planning a bigger part of the job than people expect. We walk the property first, then plan the pad and the house around what the land is actually doing.
