This Edna ranch house was built for wide open Jackson County living. The 1,609 square foot plan keeps the living, dining, and kitchen areas connected so the whole family lands in the same space, with a long covered porch for watching the weather roll across the pasture.

Four bedrooms and two full baths fit into the plan without a wasted hallway, and the finishes were selected with the owners piece by piece, from cabinetry and counters to flooring, lighting, and tile. Exterior materials were chosen to handle South Texas sun, wind, and storm season.
